Monster Pop is a mobile game published by Jesse Northup. This policy explains
what information the game collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers
the Monster Pop Android application (com.monsterpop.game) and nothing
else.
The short version: Monster Pop is fully playable without an account and without an internet connection. If you never sign in, the only information that leaves your device is what is needed to show ads and to count anonymous usage. If you do sign in, your game progress is saved to the cloud and your display name appears on a public leaderboard.

Monster Pop does not collect your email address, your contacts, your photos, your files, your precise location, or your microphone or camera.
If you sign in, your Google account display name and your best score are written to a leaderboard that every other player can read. Please do not sign in if you would rather your display name were not visible to other players — the game is complete without it.
Monster Pop shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. You are never required to watch one; every reward an ad offers can be earned by playing.
AdMob uses your advertising ID to select ads and to measure them. You can reset or delete that identifier at any time in your Android settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads. Google explains how it uses data from partner apps at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Your information is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party. Google's own privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Signing in is entirely optional and can be skipped forever. Without it the game keeps your progress on your device only, shows no leaderboard, and syncs nothing. Ads and anonymous usage statistics still apply, because they do not depend on an account.
Monster Pop is not directed to children under 13, and the game does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact the address below and it will be deleted.
You can also simply sign out, which stops any further cloud syncing immediately.
All information sent by the game travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Saved progress and leaderboard entries are stored in Google Cloud Firestore under access rules that let you write only your own records.
Depending on where you live — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and California — you may have the right to see what information is held about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, use the contact address below.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
